Official Adventure Touring Blog

In May 2018, In the wake of traumatic personal tragedy and against all odds, our family set out dual sport adventure touring full time around the United States. Riding on a KTM 690 Enduro R, a Yamaha XT 250 and a Honda CRF 250L Rally we have outrun the odds. We have found a way to live our lifelong dream and are here to say that if we can do it so can others. The purpose of the Story Moto ADV brand is to give an identity to the Story we are just now beginning to tell on how we did these four things:

  • Took our lives back from the rat race.

  • Reconnected with one another & ourselves

  • Became invigorated to share our adventure touring skillsets and experiences with the motorcycle community and our children

  • Committed to showing as many people as we can reach that it is still possible to do these things... no matter the odds.

  • Purposed to provide as much information as we can to help others save time and money in their pursuits to get out and ride

If we've spoken or If you've recognized on your own and understand what it is we are attempting to do for the ADV community (community & family in general for that matter) and you support it, click the helmet icon below to contribute and become a part of it. Even a tank of gas goes along way.

Additionally... if you really and truly are convicted to be more a part of it... hit us up, share your ideas. Let's talk. Help us to be certain we all have the wisdom and resources it takes to make the most positive impact possible.

Because of the rapid growth our sport is currently experiencing... NOW is a very vital time to have a unified voice if we hope to insure that growth is healthy. I've seen the other side of it with my own eyes. Just ONE example thought on the matter: You'd be surprised (I certainly was) at just how quickly crowds and public land access can change access laws. Motorcycles will be the first to go. Communities and families need a voice that is loud and clear.
